Bela 60 মিনিটে করতে পারে 1 টি কাজ সুতরাং " 1 " " " 160 অংশ কাজ একইভাবে Hena 1 মিনিটে করে (160 + 140) = 2 + 3120 = 5120 = 124 অংশ দুজনে 124 অংশ কাজ করে 1 মিনিটে সুতরাং 1 বা সম্পূর্ণ কাজ করে 24 মিনিটে। দুজনে 24 মিনিটে সম্পূর্ণ কাজটি করতে পারলে 12 মিনিটে করেছিল অর্ধেক কাজ। তাহলে কাজ বাকি ছিল আরো অর্ধেক, যা Hena এর সম্পূর্ণ করেছিল। যেহেতু Hena 40 মিনিটে সম্পূর্ণ কাজ করতে পারে। তাই তার অর্ধেক কাজ করতে সময় লেগেছিল 20 মিনিট।
