New railway zone named as
southern coast railway has been announced
for Andhra Pradesh which would be
headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram. It
will be the 18th zone comprising Guntakal,
Guntur and Vijayawada divisions and is to
be built at the cost of 205 crores.
